Fort Myers, FL.--The South Georgia Wildcats dropped their third straight to start the season in a 42-37 loss to the Florida Firecats Saturday night. With the win the Firecats improve to a perfect 4 and 0 on the season and will most likely remain the top ranked team in the Arena 2 coaches poll.
South Georgia fell behind 28-14 at the half to the Firecats and could never recover despite making a late comeback down the stretch. The Wildcats (0-3) return home next Saturday to face the Albany (N.Y.) Conquest.
