Albany- WALB is kicking off a partnership with a South Georgia grocery store chain to keep you safe when severe weather hits. Harvey's stores are now selling Midland Hazard Radios at a special price.
The radios are NOAA approved and carry over 60 different warnings from tornado warnings to amber alerts.
"We have flooding, we have hail, we have winds, tornado alerts, all of that kind of thing, and so I think if you're planning to go to Harvey's you really want to know if you're going to encounter severe weather," said Joe Harvey, owner.
The radios will be available at all Harvey's locations. You can also check the weather section of our web site for a list of NOAA radio frequencies.
