Thomasville- Thomasville police officers say Bernard Hill cut a 27 year old woman with a knife and kept her against her will while he sodomized her.
The woman reported the rape to police from a local clinic. Officers say the G.B.I. then helped them recover physical and trace evidence that backed-up her statements. Police add that they moved quickly on the case. "Anytime there's a serious crime like that you want to be able to identify the suspect as soon as possible and place him under arrest. We don't want persons like that roaming our community," says Captain Troy Rich.
Hill is charged with rape, aggravated assault, aggravated sodomy, and false imprisonment. If convicted, he could face up to 80 years in prison.
