Albany- If you like to light up, there's one item you'll have to leave out if you're flying. New restrictions were put in place this week that will affect smoking travelers. The new signs have been posted at the Albany Airport.

"The new rule is that no cigarette lighters are allowed on any ASA or Delta flights. So, now you just need to leave your cigarette lighter and matches at home," said Tameka Wimbush of Delta\ASA.

Lighters have been banned from checked baggage, but now you can't put them in your carry on either. Security personnel say, for a short time they will be providing passengers with a FedEx envelope if they want to mail a sentimental lighter home.
