Albany- A two car crash in West Albany left one woman dead and a young child in the hospital.

Lila Jackson, 74, of Manchester was driving this burgandy Oldsmobile Cutlass on GillionvilleRoad about 5:30 p.m. She started to pull out of Clean as a Whistle car wash and tried to turn left onto Gillionville.

Tyler Creel of Albany was driving a Chevy Silvarado west on Gillionville. She pulled out in front of his truck and was killed instantly.

The 3-year-old boy was in a car seat and was transported Palmyra Medical Center where he was treated and released.

While law enformement was working that fatal wreck, officers were called just blocks away to another wreck on Gillionville Road in front of Homerun Foods.

Police didn't have all the details Thursday night, but it appears one car tried to turn onto Gillionville Road from Beattie Road. At least one person was taken to the hospital.
