Albany--The Dougherty High School Chorale is singing louder and prouder than ever, after this past weekends Grand Champion finish at the Spectrum Invitational National Music Festival.
The Chorale recieved all Superior ratings and won first place in all three categories, which included first place concert choir, first place women's choir, and first place gospel choir.
Dougherty high in total brought home fifteen top awards including grand champion. Dougherty high was the only school from Georgia in the competition. Other states represented included North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
