Webster leaves Warwick with warning

Warwick-   One important lesson those young drivers will learn is to obey speed limits.

Apparently, that's something a former child actor needs to remember.

Tuesday, Warwick Police Officer Ron Kirk pulled over a man driving an SUV 70 miles per hour in a 45 zone while pulling this trailer loaded with a car. The driver, Emmanuel Lewis, was the star of the 80's sitcom "Webster."

Kirk decided to let him go with a warning.

"Well, I grew up watching him and I was very nice and professional, so I just gave him a courtesy warning," said Officer Ron Kirk with Warwick Police Department.

Of course, Lewis did smile for a picture and gave the officer his autograph. Lewis was returning to his home near Atlanta after a visit to Albany where he bought the car on the trailer.
