Albany- South Georgia Wildcats kicker Wes Virgilio is expected to miss only two weeks after straining his knee in Saturday nights' game against Macon.
That is good news for the Wildcats who originally feared that Virgilio had torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
Head coach Chris Siegfried is planning to sign kicker they recently worked out.
Siegfried also says he is planning to sign several more players Wednesday, all of whom are expected to play Friday night at Louisville.
