Spring breakers flow into Flint Riverquarium

Albany - More than 6,600 people visited the Flint Riverquarium in the last two week during school spring break. That's nearly 2,000 more people than the attraction sees during a normal two week period.

The busiest day for the riverquarium was when the Flint River crested. Many people who wanted to see the flood waters, decided to also visit the attraction. "We benefited from that, quite honestly. We had one of the biggest days we've ever had at the theater," said Doug Noble, Director.

More than 90,000 people have toured the Flint Riverquarium since it open in September.
