    Hundreds of people came out to Lake Blackshear Saturday to support law enforcement and the Crisp County Sheriff.

Worth County- The 8th annual National Grits Festival kicked off in Warwick Saturday.

Thousands of people attended the event. There were games and vendors and all types of food but of course grits were the main dish.

"We had a corn shulling contest. We had a grits eating contest. We had a grits breakfast this morning. We had a grits cooking contest," says executive director Vann Jones.

Organizers are already getting gritted up for next year's festival.
