Americus- You can take your family on a trip around the world this weekend without ever leaving South Georgia.

Habitat for Humanity's Global Village is holding it's International Festival. Friday was an educational event for school groups. But tomorrow is set up for families. There will be authentic food and music from many different countries.

"Well, we really want folks to take away a sense of the excitement that the rest of the world has to offer. We're trying to give people a sense of the sights and sounds and even the tastes of what you can see in different cultures around the world," said Michelle Dalva, director of the Global Village.

The event begins at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and will last until 5 p.m. The price is $6 at the gate.
