Walk benefits Easter Seals

Nashville - The memory of a South Georgia teenager is helping raise money for people with disabilities.

The Kimberly Renfroe Memorial Walk starts at 9:00 Saturday morning at Hope Baptist Church in Nashville.

Renfroe was killed in a car accident in 1998.

Each year, her family organizes a walk to raise money for different charities. Proceeds from this year's event will benefit Easter Seals.

"We started it on the fifth year anniversary of my sister Kimberly's accident to commemorate her memory and spirit, and to show people she is still making a change," said Tori Mills.

The walk will start at Hope Baptist Church and continue down Dogwood Drive. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
