Lowndes County - The skies over Moody Air Force Base will be filled with aerobatic action this weekend.

Moody's AirFest 2005 kicks off Saturday at the base. There will be more than 50 static aircraft displays, as well as performances by Moody's premier T-6 demonstration team and other aerial entertainment acts.

"We've done our combat search and rescue demonstration practice, our aerial refueling demonstration practice, also several composite flybys, people are going to be amazed at what they see this weekend," said Captain Erin Dick.

The air show is from 10:00 until 5:00 Saturday and Sunday at the base.

Admission is free.
