Albany- You can raise money for a good cause, meet NFL players and get a ticket to the Wildcats game.
Saturday's Bowl for Kids Sake will raise money for Albany's Big Brother-Big Sister program. Seven NFL players will bowl along with volunteers.
Donations of $75 or more will get you a ticket to Saturday's first ever south Georgia Wildcats game and an opporunty to meet the Wildcats and NFL players. Organizers still want more teams.
"We actually have donations sheets that a person can come and get and take out and get people to sponsor them and make donations to them," said Alma Davis with Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Albany.
They hope to raise more than $10,000. You can donate or sign up by calling Big Brothers Big Sisters at 317-0753.
Some of the NFL players coming to the fundraiser is Todd Williams with the Tennessee Titans, Charles Grant with the New Orleans Saints, Alonzo Jackson with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Otis Leverette with the Seattle Seahawks, Vaughn Hebron with the Broncos and Fabian Walker, the quarterback for Valdosta State University. The team member coming from the Atlanta Falcons has not been announced.
