Albany- Lieutenant Jason Hagar and Officer Johnny King wrapped up the "Cops on Doughnut Shops" weekend. Officers ate and slept since Friday perched on the roof of Krispy Kreme. They collected money for Special Olympics.

Organizers from the Georgia Law Enforcement Torch Run hoped to raise $5,000 from the event. "We set our goal of 5,000. We didn't quite get our goal but this is the first year that we've done it and we were very successful nonetheless and hopefully next year we'll be able to succeed our goal," says Lieutenant Hagar.

Krispy Kreme is the national sponsor of the Law Enforcement Torch Run. So far officers have raised about $3,000 for the Special Olympics cause.
