    A Cordele man is out of jail tonight, accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from his former employer.

Americus- Early Sunday morning, one person was killed in an accident in Americus. The female driver crashed along Lane Store Road just off of Highway 27 East.

The accident happened just before 5:30 a-m. An investigation is ongoing.

A Moultrie woman was also killed when her car overturned just after midnight in Thomas County.

Thirty four year old Margaret Anne Lorio was involved in a one vehicle accident along Sardis Church Road, about five miles south of Moultrie. The car overturned throwing Lorio from the vehicle. Troopers say, Lorio was not wearing her seat belt.
