Lowndes County - A South Georgia man is headed to prison for rape.

Investigators say between August of 2001 and July of 2002, 38-year-old Anthony Lamar Dasher of Quitman posed as a police officer and raped three women.

Thursday, he was sentenced to 45 years in prison. He was also convicted of aggravated assault and sodomy, kidnapping and impersonating an officer.

Dasher's first trial in June of 2003 ended in a mistrial.
