Valdosta - A Georgia congressman is working to make health care more affordable for South Georgians.

Congressman Jack Kingston visited Smith-Northview Hospital in Valdosta Friday. He toured the facility and talked with the staff about ways to make health care available for everyone.

"Making healthcare more affordable and accessible is a high priority for me and for the entire nation so we want to look at all different types of ways of delivering healthcare," said Kingston.

After his visit to Valdosta, Congressman Kingston held a town hall meeting in Lakeland to discuss social security.
