Lowndes County - Three South Georgia airmen are accused of stealing from their Air Force Base.

Lowndes County investigators say 22-year-old Todd Louis Boutte and 21-year-old Jared Wayne Roberts stole bullet proof vests from Moody Air Force Base and sold them.

Twenty-three year old Brian Aubray Skelton is charged with theft by receiving stolen property. Investigators served a search warrant and found the vests in their home after they received a tip from the Lanier County Sheriff's Department.

Skelton is being held in the Lowndes County Jail. Roberts and Boutte have been released to the custody of Air Force authorities who will investigate the case.
