March 25, 2005

Auburn, Al. - Albany's Josh Broadaway, the only cross handed golfer on the Hooters Tour, and Deerfield Beach, FL native Marvin King share the clubhouse lead at 10-under par after the second round of the NGA Hooters Tour Auburn Classic.

The two share a two stroke lead over three golfers including first round leader Jered Gusso (Savage, MN) who fired a second round one-under par 71.

Former Auburn Tiger golfer Brett Boner (Charlotte, NC) backed up his opening round 68 with a second round three-under par 69 and stands in a tie for 7th place, while Jonathon Dismuke, the other Tiger in the field this week, fired a second round three-under par 69, but stands to miss the projected cut of even par 144.

Auburn Links professional Ricky Smallridge closed his tournament with a one-under par 71 and stands at one over for the tournament.

The second round was suspended Friday due to darkness.

The second round will resume at 7:00 am Saturday, with the third round expected to begin at 8:30 am.
