Albany- 100 Black Men of Albany held their 3rd annual Trailblazer awards and scholarship gala Friday night. The ceremony awards individuals and groups that have made a significant impact in South Georgia.
"It does good for us because it allows us to show appreciation for what they have done for the community," says 100 Black Men member Jesse Harris.
Honoree Ralph Wilcox says, "I've worked hard. I had a very clear vision implementing it, getting the kind of support that I need and to be recognized for that at this early stage of the game is certainly fuel to perpetuate that momentum."
Wilcox was one of six honorees. He founded Henny Penny in Colquitt. The organization trains students in television and film making.
