Suspected drug distributor busted in Albany motel

Albany -- Albany Drug Agents bust a suspected drug distributor with more than 145-thousand dollars worth of cocaine and marijuana. 28 year old Trevis Price of Albany was arrested in a motel room in northwest Albany Wednesday night.

Agents found more than six ounces of powder cocaine and a pound of marijuana in his room, and 18 hundred dollars in cash.

The coke and pot were already bagged and ready for sale to drug dealers. A.D.D.U. Commander Major Bill Berry said "Check in. Stay there long enough to do your dealing and then move on. Very hard to trace or find out what's going on with him."

Agents think the drugs came from Florida. Among it, in the red bags, hydroponic marijuana, which is grown in water containers and is popular because it is better quality pot.

This is the second time Price has been arrested by Albany drug agents. He is being held without bond in the Dougherty County jail.
