Albany - Some Albany teens were honored for being all-round good students. The Exchange Club of Albany gave Devetria Brantley and Brian Pinto "Young Citizenship Awards."

Brantley is a student at the South Georgia Regional Achievement Center and Pinto attends Robert Cross Middle School. The Exchange Club considers citizenship, attitude, academics, service, leadership, and sportsmanship when choosing award recipients.

"I think it's good to have good character, be athletic, try your best, and respect adults," said award recipient Brian Pinto.

"It's a great honor because I never had an award like this in my life," recipient Devetria Brantley.

The Exchange Club also celebrated its 88th birthday.
