    A couple of South Georgia mayors attended a forum at the Albany Civil Rights Institute to enlighten the public on how city governments run, Thursday.

Lee County- Lee County leaders and law enforcement officers will develop a plan to make the courthouse safer.

Right now, the courthouse has virtually no security. That likely will change following this month's shooting spree at the Fulton County Courthouse. The county administrator will work with the sheriff's department to come up with ways to increase security.

"Just that as Lee County grows, one of the negative sides to that is that we'll have more criminal and civil cases to deal with," said County Administrator Langford Holbrook.

Legislators are also looking at possible ways to have the same level of security at all courthouses.
