Poulan- Arson investigators from the state fire marshal's office and hazardous material teams were at Tony Williams Pepper Street home in Poulan Monday.

Witnesses say they heard the explosion around three o'clock Sunday afternoon and saw the front of the home engulfed in flames.

Investigators haven't determined the cause, but were checking out a possible leak in William's propane tank. Williams was taken to a burn center in Augusta where he is in critical condition.
