Grady deputy back from suspension

Cairo- Deputy Clifford Davis is back on the job after being suspended for two days without pay.

Sheriff Harry Young says Davis was suspended for having a .02 blood alcohol content while on duty. He was given a breathalyzer test after co-workers expressed some concerns. Young stresses that Davis consumed the drinks while he was off-duty the night before. He says the suspension was enough of a reprimand, and that Davis will be fired if such a problem happens again. Young adds that Davis is a good, top-notch deputy.

The legal public alcohol limit for adults in Georgia is .08.
