The family of a Miller County woman is mourning tonight after GBI investigators say the 58 year old was murdered by her husband, before he took his own life.

Albany-- Viewers who saw surveillance photos earlier this week on WALB News Ten helped Dougherty County Sheriff's Investigators bust a stolen check ring.

We showed photos of two women and a man cashing checks stolen from purses at Phoebe Putney Hospital March 4th. A Tifton man saw the pictures and told Investigators where to find the women.

Twenty-three-year-old Marie Pendarvis and 28-year old Tonya Lane are both charged with forgery. "They were both arrested," said Lt. Craig Dodd of the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office. "They both gave statements admitting to their involvement in the situation, and identified the light skinned black male."

Investigators say the man in the photos is a truck driver named Mike Reed. They're still looking for him.

They also want your help to identify another captured on bank surveillance photos as he cashed more of those stolen checks. If you have any information, call the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office at 431-3222.
