Doerun - Service and farm supply businesses that suffered losses from Hurricane Ivan can now apply for federal disaster loans. The loans are available at 2.9% interest for up to 30 years.
Floyd Taylor says, "My first thought is that's not the norm. We're usually at the mercy of the weather and just absorb the losses. So this will be an opportunity to apply for a loan to recoup some of that."
