Thomasville- A firefighter who was injured in an arson at a home in Thomasville has been released from Archbold Hospital.

A flash-over had erupted on the second floor of the home, and he fell down a flight of stairs. Fortunately, he suffered only minor burns.

Also, the suspect in the case, Kelly McLeod, has been admitted to Southwestern State Hospital for mental evaluation. He is the son of the homeowners. Investigators say he set the fire Monday after arguing with his parents.

Investigators say McCleod will be charged with arson. If convicted, he could face 20 years in prison.
