Tift County- Authorities say 51 year old John Sears's heater was broken, so he disassembled it to take it to a repair shop.
He thought his propane tank was empty, but when his refrigerator compressor kicked in flames sparked and his mobile home exploded.
Sears was life-flighted to an Augusta burn center, but has since been released.
