Man killed in crash Identified

Macon County - Troopers say 37 year old Ronald J. Landtiser drove too fast through a curve near the entrance to the Andersonville historical site on Wednesday. He hit a road sign and then crashed into a tree.

The Jeep Cherokee he was driving caught fire and was destroyed. The Macon County coroner says Landtiser died before the car began burning from traumatic injuries caused by the force of the wreck. Landtiser was originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
