Lanier County - The driver in a fatal weekend crash has been charged with vehicular homicide.
Thirty-five year old Candido Castillo of Willacoochee was driving a Ford truck north on Highway 129 in Stockton Sunday when he ran a stop sign and hit a Ford Explorer.
One of the passengers, Fermin Fuentes, was killed. Another passenger is in the hospital with a broken neck, the driver and two other passengers received minor injuries.
Castillo was not seriously hurt and has been charged with vehicular homicide and driving without a license.
