Tift County- A Hill Avenue mobile home burst into flames Monday morning. Investigators from the State Fire Marshal's office spent the day digging through the debris trying to find out what caused the explosion.
The owner, 51 year old John Sears was life-flighted to Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta. He is in critical condition.
Investigators are also working to find out what caused the fire that broke out at a Tift County hotel.
Fire destroyed an office at the Travelodge Hotel in Tifton around midnight Saturday. Arson investigators still are not sure what started the blaze, but they were in Tifton again Tuesday collecting evidence from the scene.
