Popular Albanians arrested for crimes of the heart

Albany - Students yelled as Deerfield Windsor Lower School Headmaster Buddy Grimes and P.E. coach Steve Futch, along with WALB's Ben Roberts, were arrested.

The three are just some of the people being arrested by the America Heart Association. To make bail, the detainees must raise $1,000 for the charity. The Headmaster hopes the kids will help him make bail.

"I had open-heart surgery ten years ago. I'm one of the fortunate ones. Since then I've supported the American Heart Association, I think it's a great thing. It also allows the kids to help out in some way," said Buddy Grimes, Deerfield Windsor Headmaster.

The arrested volunteers will go before a judge Thursday for arraignment and to make bail. Last year, Albany's Cardiac Arrest raised more money than any Heart Association chapter in the country.
