Thomas County- Flames destroyed a home just north of Coolidge over the weekend.
Firefighters from Coolidge, Pavo, and Thomasville responded. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. The homeowner told firefighters that he left briefly only to find smoke and flames when he returned.
Investigators think the fire was caused by an electrical short.
