Albany-- A year after being charged with murder, Rose Marie Brown is found not guilty, and the verdict is a relief for the woman and her family.

Brown admitted she stabbed her live-in boyfriend, but she said it was in self defense, and jurors agreed.

Thursday, they acquitted Brown on murder charges in the death of Jerrel Hill. "I am glad its over now I can go on with my life. Me and my kids, because this has been a horrible 16 months of my life," she said.

Brown says she'll soon see a dentist to repair the tooth that was broken in the fight that led to the stabbing.
