Bainbridge- A series of events in Bainbridge over the weekend will commemorate Black History Month, and at the same time, help raise money for an American Legion Post.
American Legion Post 502 is run mostly by African-American war veterans. It's in dire need of repair and refurbishing. That's why the social and civic group "Phoenix Fair" has chosen to donate proceeds from their events this weekend to the post.
There will be a fashion show and dinner, tours of Bainbridge on horse-driven carriages, and music from various African-American gospel groups.
