Albany- You can show your support for troops by doing something simple once a week.

All you have to do is wear something red on Fridays.

The grassroots campaign started several months ago over the internet. The people who serve say any sign of support for their mission will make it back to them.

"Matter of fact, I was just at Fort Stewart Tuesday and I was talking to the soldiers there, so word from back here in Albany and the surrounding areas gets to those guys, so they know we're here for them," said SSgt. Thomas Dalton, with the Georgia National Guard.

You can join the Wear Red on Fridays campaign on any Friday.
