Illegal alcohol sold at S. Ga. plantation?

Thomasville- Two workers at Melhana Plantation are accused of serving Revenue Department agents alcoholic beverages.

     Melhana does not have a state or local on-premise liquor license.

     Barbi Lynn Strickland and Zachary Seth Lewis are both charged with illegal alcohol sales. They were taken into custody by Thomas County sheriff's deputies and released from the jail on their own recognizance.

     Department of Revenue officials will only say that the investigation is ongoing.
