Quitman - A story book illustrator and artist is teaching South Georgia students the value of a good book.
Wil Clay entertained students at Quitman Elementary School Thursday morning. He drove almost 1,000 miles from Toledo Ohio to teach kids the importance of reading, writing, and drawing.
"If a kid can't read well, they tend to shy away from their classroom studies so we want to pump them up and encourage them to read," said Clay.
Clark's visit was part of the school's black history month program.
