Thomasville- Doctor John Hutchinson says he'll be signing-on as the president of Lincoln College in Lincoln, Illinois.

He announced his resignation from Thomas University last Wednesday at its board of trustees meeting. But he didn't say where he is going until now because Lincoln hadn't announced the new addition.

Hutchinson says it came at a pivotal point in his life. "They made me a real fine offer, compensation offer, so I felt this was a good moment for me to take that opportunity," says Hutchinson.

Hutchinson's last day at Thomas University will be July 31st. TU's board of trustees is searching for someone who will come on-board not as an interim president, but full-time.
