Cairo- February 16th is the deadline for licensed gun dealers to present closed bids for some of the Grady County Sheriff's Office's surplus pistols. Their are eighteen Smith and Wesson .9 millimeters up for grabs, including five unused ones.

     Sheriff Harry Young says he's hoping to get about 300-dollars per gun. He wants to use that money to equip his deputies with Tasers. He says Tasers are one of the best non-lethal tools in law enforcement today.
