Valdosta - The state supreme court denied the appeal of a man found guilty of murdering another inmate at a South Georgia prison.

Twenty-seven year old Julius Ingram is spending life in prison for strangling Christopher Robinson at Valdosta State Prison in June of 2002.

Ingram appealed the case, but Monday, the Georgia Supreme Court denied that appeal.

Two other inmates, Lawrence McCoy and John Tallman, were also found guilty of voluntary manslaughter in the case and were sentenced to 15 years in prison.
