Willacoochee - A South Georgia man stole a car and led police on a high speed chase.

Around 7:30 Wednesday night, a Willacoochee police office spotted a stolen vehicle on Highway 82. He got into a chase with the driver, Ivan Guizar of Pearson. The chase went about 10 miles into Alapaha and reached speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

Guizar finally pulled over just west of Alapaha and started running. Police caught him a few yards away in some woods.

He's in the Atkinson County Jail.
