Thomasville- Allen Byron Schaffer is accused of forcing a 13-year-old girl to have oral sex with him in October 2003. The girl told her parents about it last week.

Schaffer is held in the Thomas County Jail. He knew the girl because her father had given him rides to work. "In this case, the victim was scared to talk about it. I mean, that's a scary thing to have to tell someone. But we do urge crime victims to come forward so we can jump on it immediately.", says Thomasville Police Sergeant Rachelle Denmark.

Police add that aggravated child sodomy is more severe than child molestation. If convicted of the charge, Shaffer could spend the rest of his life in prison.
