Sylvester - The Lee County cheerleading squad may have been competing in a new region but it was the same result at the GHSA region cheerleading championships.
Lee County beat out Ware County for the 1-AAAA title Mondya night in Sylvester.
The sixth straight region crown for the Lady Trojans with the last four coming in region 1-AAAAA.
Bainbridge High placed third and Thomas County Central was fourth.
Crisp County wins 1-AAA title followed by Worth County and Westover.
Cook and Thomasville place one and two in region 1-AA.
Baconton Charter blazes to the region title in 1-A with Pelham finishing second.
And it was Houston County winning the 1-AAAAA region title. Lowndes was second, Valdosta third and Coffee High placed 4th
These squads are all heading to the state competition in Columbus this weekend.
