Cook County - South Georgia drug agents discovered a large methamphetamine lab over the weekend.

Investigators were serving a warrant for probation violation at a home off Lovers Lane in Cook County Saturday night when they found the fully operational meth lab.

They arrested 60-year-old Charles Sumner, 61-year-old Albert Thompson, 59-year-old Nick Wilkes, 33-year-old Bart Adam Young and 20-year-old Corey Sumner.

"This was a more advanced lab, they were actually making their own anhydrous amonia and making their own methamphetamine," said Captain Colin Millison.

The South Georgia Drug Task Force and a hazardous materials team out of Jacksonville were called in to take down the meth lab.
