Albany- Haley Kilpatrick was contacted by American Eagle Outfitters after she was chosen as Cosmo Girl of the year for her work on Girl Talk, a mentoring program for middle school girls.

Now she and five other teens from across the country will sit on the American Eagle Outfitters Live Your Life judging panel, a program that will award $25,000 to a teen who has made a difference in their community.

"I've been inspired by girls that I've had the privilege to mentor to through Girl Talk and I think that's what keeps me going, so it's the energy through amazing people that really keeps you focused and motivated to what you're doing."

The 18 year old is featured on the American Eagle Outfitters website and will travel across the country promoting the program.
