Hahira - A South Georgia city is honoring its hometown heroes.

Hahira has a new welcome sign at the courthouse, naming the town the home of the Drew brothers.

J.D., Tim, and Stephen Drew have all made it big in major league baseball. Mayor Myron Crowe also proclaimed it "Drew Day" in Hahira.

"Its very exciting to know that Hahira's behind us and supporting us the way they do," said Tim Drew. "Words can't describe what took place here."

J.D. and Tim Drew played for the Atlanta Braves last season. J.D. recently signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tim will be playing for the Colorodo Rockies. Stephen Drew was the number one draft pick for the Arizona Diamondbacks last season and is in negotiations with the team.
