Albany -- Albany Police want your help finding an arsonist who set a South Albany store on fire Friday evening.

Investigators want to talk to a teenager in a surveillance video picture about a fire in the Family Dollar on South Slappey.

A store display of shelf lining paper was set on fire Friday night. A customer used a fire extinguisher to put it out. Assistant Chief James Carswell said "Once ignited, it could spread very fast. People in there not being used to the exits, it could have cost somebody their life."

Witnesses say the teen is 12 to 15 years old, short and stocky. There is a reward of up to ten-thousand dollars offered leading to the arrest of arsonists.

If you know who this person is,call the Albany Police or Fire Department or the state arson hot line at 1-800-282-5804.
